Lecturer Biography

Mizuho Ikeda

Born in Nishinomiya City, she started playing piano at the age of 5 and cello at 15.
After studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Belgium, she graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Mons, Belgium with a master's degree in 2011.
In 2011, she was selected to participate in the Chamber Music Festival organized by the Belgian Province of Ennor, and performed Shostakovich's Cello Concerto and Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme with the Philomusica Scarlet Orchestra in 2013 and 2017. 2016, recital at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art.
She has studied cello with T. Kawamoto, Noboru Kamimura, Yoshiko Ikemura, Tomoyuki Nomura, D. Poskin, and D. Cohen.
She is currently active as a soloist, chamber musician, and guest performer with professional orchestras.
